“ They have really good chicken teriyaki and yakasoba. Their sauce is a good thicker consistency. Very fast service inside and call in has always been great. They have removed a few tables inside but there is still limited seating. Most of their orders are to go. ”
“ When you need a late night snack with some good food hit this place up. You can never go wrong ”
“ Love the chicken teriyaki and the sushi here is awesome! I feel lucky to have this little place close to home! ”
“ The external look of Mashitas does not compare with their food. No idea what this location used to be but my recommendation is - don't judge a book by it's cover! I've been eating here for several years and it's my go-to for teriyaki chicken and sushi in a Stayton. They have a decent chicken/beef menu and a very good sushi menu. ”
“ We came to Mashita despite the questionable gas station exterior because my boyfriend saw good reviews on Yelp. When we pulled up, I thought, "wow this place looks pretty run down!" Nevertheless, we went for it. Inside, there were a bunch of people getting takeout, so we put our order in: teriyaki/sweet and sour chicken bento and two rolls (Oregon and Caterpillar). We had to wait 20 min because they were busy. Once we got the food, we took it back to our cabin (20 min away). We found a picnic table and dug in. My rolls were solid. Not quite sushi-ya good, but absolutely solid for the price. The bento was plenty of food and also pretty good for the price. Overall, if you are in this small-town area and craving Japanese food, I would recommend this place. ”
